He went into business with his best friend and began to promote his artwork. Tom's primary medium at this time was pastels done on a heavy grade black paper which allowed for a high degree of shading and contrast in each picture. These tended to be of a more abstract, surreal nature while Toms' technical drawings were highly detailed time consuming pieces to create. These technical works took several hundred hours to complete and contained intricate details which covered almost every inch of these pictures. |

The Wizard's Spell is a stunning example of Tom's unique style of drawing. This picture took over four hundred hours to complete and contained intricate details which worked their way across the entire paper. Pen and Ink continues to be one of Tom's favorite mediums although the amount of time required to complete one of these pictures limits the number of new pictures produced. |

Throughout the ninety's, Tom concentrated on developing his unique artistic style while branching out into other mediums and avenues of exposure Some of the highlights included murals, custom pictures, T-shirts, prints, posters, commercial graphic applications, computer generated designs and promotional material for various musicians and organizations across the US. Tom continues to produce beautiful creations in all mediums but lately his emphasis has been on computed-generated art. This medium has allowed Tom to take his art in directions he had only dreamt of before. He can now combine his traditional pen and ink and pastel images with computer enhanced design. The picture on the right and the one below are two variations of one original. |
